Labor Day (school closed): Sept. 7

Yom Kippur (school closed): Sept. 23

Columbus Day (school closed): Oct. 12

Professional development day (school closed): Nov. 3

Early dismissal: Nov. 25

Thanksgiving (school closed): Nov. 26-27

Winter break early dismissal: Dec. 23

Winter break: Dec. 24-Jan. 3 (school resumes Jan. 4)

Staff development (no school): Jan. 15

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 18

Presidents Day (school closed): Feb. 15, 16

Professional development (schools closed): Feb, 17 - 19

Good Friday (schools closed): Mar. 25

Early dismissal: Apr. 15

Spring break (schools closed): Apr. 18 - 22

Early dismissal: May 27

Memorial Day (school closed): May 30

Last day of school: June 15 (early dismissal)

IF MORE THAN 5 DAYS ARE LOST DUE TO EMERGENCY CLOSINGS PRIOR TO FEBRUARY BREAK, EXCESS DAYS (OVER 5) WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE END OF FEBRUARY BREAK. ANY REMAINING DAYS THAT ARE LOST WILL BE MADE UP AFTER THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. AFTER JUNE 30TH, DAYS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE END OF APRIL RECESS. 182 STUDENT DAYS APPROVED: 1/21/15 187 TEACHER DAYS 190 NEW TEACHER DAYS.
