The temperature will remain warm on Tuesday with readings in the low 70s but there is a 30 percent chance of showers anytime after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

On Wednesday, another slight chance of showers early and then it’s partly sunny skies with temps falling back into the mid 60s.

On Thursday, it’s a bit chillier with temps in the low 60s but sunny skies, and Friday the forecast calls for a chance of showers and most cloudy skies with temps in the upper 50s.

As of right now, the weekend forecast calls for old-fashioned New England autumn weather with temps in the low to mid 50s but plenty of sunshine.

The big story this week with weather is the more than 20-degree temperature change from Monday to Sunday.
