Brookfield Woman Dies After Skiing Accident At Mohawk Mountain
The accident is still under investigation, state police said.

CORNWALL, CT — A Brookfield woman died after a skiing accident at Mohawk Mountain last Saturday, state police said.
State police said a call came into the Troop B barracks at 8:31 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 about two skiers who had collided. When troopers arrived, one of the skiers, Lisa Kelly, 46, of 11 S. Lake Shore Drive, Brookfield, had already been taken by ambulance to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, according to a report.
She was then airlifted to Hartford Hospital but died of her injuries, state police said. She was pronounced dead at 11:12 p.m., state police said.

Details of the crash were not available, nor did state police mention if she had been wearing a helmet.
The accident is under investigation. Anyone who may have been on the mountain at the time and witnessed the incident is being asked to call state police at 860-626-1820.
