Brookfield's Best Kept Secret Hits The Main Drag This Weekend
Guitar Hangar is planning their Grand Opening this weekend, Sept. 19-21 and the Brookfield Chamber & i95 FM are ready to welcome them.

Flying under the radar for the last 15 years has kept a local guitar retailer going at a slow and steady pace, but now he’s ready to rock out on the big stage.
Rick Tedesco, owner of Guitar Hangar is planning a monster Grand Opening bash to celebrate the official opening of his new music store on Federal Road. For nearly two decades he operated a mostly mail order business and recording studio out of his studio on Candlewood Lake Road, but recently decided to open a storefront to expand his lesson program and merchandise selection.
The weekend-long event will include a ribbon cutting by the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, prizes and giveaways and a live broadcast from i95 FM radio with Ethan & Lou of the morning show. There will also be tons of discounts and deals on lessons, instruments and gear.

Tedesco said he is very excited to open his doors in the highly visible location on Federal Road. “I’ve been doing this
for a long time and finally decided to step it up,” he said. “We have been tucked away for 15 years so it’s nice to be in this spot now. We opened July 21 and have gotten a lot of positive feedback since then.”
