UPDATE: Brookfield Company Hopes to Open a Medical Marijuana Dispensary
A Brookfield company been chosen for consideration by the state to open a new medical marijuana dispensary. No location as of yet.

Currently there are six medical marijuana dispensaries in Connecticut, including one in Bethel, and there is a proposal to increase that number to nine, the Hartford Courant reports.

The emphasis is on adding locations in both Fairfield and New Haven counties, and 16 applications have been received including one from Better Healing, LLC, 3 Clover Court, Brookfield. The proposed location of the firm’s dispensary was not disclosed.
There are 5,337 registered patients and the state will make a decision early next year on where to add the new dispensaries.
