Can You Guess this Gadget?

You can’t keep me out any garage, certainly one that says ”contents for sale.” I wrote an article about sale I visited in July, but there was something I left out of the story. This was one of my favorite digs this summer because it reminded me of the hours and hours I spent as a child in a very old garage. Discoveries, like the images you see in the article, can do that to you.

One summer, my family moved into a house where the previous owner had left without emptying the workbench or shelves in the garage. Though I was 10, I think I went the entire summer without ever uttering the phrase, ”I’m bored,” I will often admit that I grew up in that garage, not because my parents wouldn’t let me in the house, but because there was so much to discover in there.

I think my weekend searches often help me recapture a little of my youth, one piece at a time. Some pieces I recognize, some are like the one on the montage. Small, purposefully designed, fold-able, but a complete mystery. Take a look at the pictures. Can you figure out what I found?
