The single most pressing issue facing our state is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Recovering our economy from this current pandemic and ensuring that our State Government does not continue to pursue further spending and tax increases, particularly at a time when our economy is in desperate need of growth.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have a proven record of advocating for our local community and putting our neighbors above anything else. Particularly, regarding fighting for our community's fair share in state funding. Despite multiple administrations attempting to significantly reduce funding to local towns, my advocacy helped to restore millions of dollars in educational funding back to our community.

Do you believe Connecticut needs reform when it comes to electric utility oversight? What steps, if any should be taken?
Absolutely. The current utility system we have in our State is completely unacceptable. It has provided poor service to our residents, while also having some of the highest utility rates in the nation. We need to do better for the people of this State and it starts with much more stringent oversight over Eversource, at the least. If not, a complete change in the system itself.
What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
I think this is a critical time to review the taxes and fees our State Government burdens many of our businesses with. I believe a critical step to recovering our economy is helping to curb these taxes and fees, so these businesses can begin the recovery process.
