Brookfield Patch Readers: Candy is Dandy...for Cartooning
The Serial Doodler returns with a new canvas.

My daughter cranked up the cuteness this past Halloween and returned with more candy than we have dental insurance to cover.
As any responsible father would, I ate secretly until she discovered my pilfering. Among the candy leftovers almost a month later, were what I consider to be the two categories that can go the distance:
The Chewy group - containing your Bit-o-Honeys, Laffy Taffys and Tootsie rolls.

The Sucky group (Not judging)- Containing your Jolly Ranchers, Peppermints and Smarties.
As I continued with my intended goal of pilfering to stave of an early onset of childhood diabetes, I realized that there was an awful lot of “white space” on those little Smarties’ disks.

Having discovered several ultra fine point markers at a recent dig (read about my other life as an Urban Archeologist) I took the finest one (.25mm) and the rest is doodling history. It’s true, you can’t spell Smarties without “ART.”
If you don’t believe I will doodle on anything - see more ‘toons here.
