Celebrate Earth Day at Brookfield's Gurski Homestead
The town will celebrate Earth Day with a free event at the Gurski Homestead.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The town will celebrate Earth Day with a free event at the Gurski Homestead.
Residents may stop in at the town-owned former dairy farm on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to build their own bluebird house, learn about invasive plant species, join in a scavenger hunt, help plant an apple tree and more family-friendly activities.
The homestead is located at 26 Obtuse Hill Road in Brookfield.
