[Video] Chick-fil-A Offers Free Breakfast in October to Celebrate One Year Anniversary

Last year dozens of chicken lovers were camped out in the rain in the parking lot of Chick-fil-A, hoping to win free food for a year on the opening day of the new restaurant.

One hundred lucky winners walked away with vouchers for free food and now, a year later, Chick-fil-A is giving away more food to celebrate their one year anniversary. During the month of October, patrons can get free a chicken breakfast sandwich every day from 6:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Chick-fil-A Brookfield franchise owner Devon Scanlon said the restaurant enjoys doing giveaways because, “It’s our goal that our restaurant becomes embedded into our community, so the area knows we’re serving a lot more than chicken. We are committed to making a positive impact on our community.”

Chick-fil-A’s official mascot The Cow threw the first pitch out at the Danbury Westerners Game, skated on the ice with the Danbury Whalers hockey team, danced Gangnam style for Bags and Bears for the area’s foster children, marched in the Brookfield Memorial Day Parade, and has been seen all over the area at many charity events.

Photo: Chick-fil-A will host Touch a Truck on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. The first 100 kids will receive a free fire chief hat from the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department. Chick-fil-A is located at 156 Federal Road in Brookfield.
