Thursday, Dec. 24, Candlelight Christmas Eve

• 5 p.m.: Children’s story from Rev. Jennifer Whipple, traditional Christmas Eve carols and candle-lighting. Nursery is open at this service only, but children of all ages are always welcome in worship.
• 8:30 p.m.: Special instrumental music of flute and dulcimer, a Christmas message from Rev. Bryn Smallwood-Garcia, and traditional carols and Communion by candlelight.
• 11 p.m.: Sing carols by candlelight, share Communion, and enjoy special music from the Chancel Choir, plus a message from Rev. Bryn Smallwood-Garcia, before departing into the magical darkness of Christmas.

• 4 p.m. Children and family Mass, children’s homily and a special visitor from up North. To comply with instructions from the Brookfield Fire Marshal, seating in the church for the 4 p.m. Mass will be strictly monitored. When the maximum seating capacity is reached, parishioners and families will be directed to the Mass in the gym. Please note that the church will not open until 3 p.m. and saving seats will be prohibited. Cars parked in designated “No Parking” areas may be ticketed.
• 6:30 p.m. A second Mass in the school gym will be a traditional “adult” Mass.

• 5 p.m. Multi-generational worship service at includes an instant Christmas pageant, when children of any age are invited to come by 4:45 p.m. and choose a costume to participate in the recount of the nativity of Jesus. Choirs offer special music, and the service is concluded by lighting candles and singing “Silent Night.”
