The Artwork of Mark Elliott


Mark Elliott has been an illustrator and gallery artist for well over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, graduating from the School of Visual Arts at New York City in 1990. Mark has worked with many of the major publishing companies such as Random House, HarperCollins, Simon and Schuster, and Marshall Cavendish, creating Young Adult book covers, interior illustration, and picture books.
His gallery portfolio is created in a hand painted style using oil and acrylics on board with a touch of surrealism and he has participated in both international and domestic group shows. Mark held his first solo show at Dorothy Circus gallery in Rome, Italy. He has also shown at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, Perihelion Arts in Phoenix, Krueger Gallery annual shows in Hamburg, and at Last Rites Gallery in New York.
Mark Elliott currently resides in Southbury, CT with his wife Cynthia and college bound step daughters Emma and Grace. He works for the United States Postal Service, draws, paints, and can often be found walking his dog and cat under the stars.
