CT Man Arrested For Cocaine Possession In NY: Police

NEW MILFORD, NY — A New York woman and a New Milford man were arrested by the New York State Police for having cocaine. Bobbi J. Peltier, 30, of Wingdale, NY, and Brigham T. Young, 38, of New Milford. were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Troopers initiated a traffic stop April 26 when they observed a Nissan Maxima driven by Young traveling on Route 55 in Dover NY, without tail lights.

Both Peltier and Young allegedly had cocaine in their possession.

They were arraigned in the Town of Dover Court.

Both defendants were sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $25,000 bond.

They are scheduled to reappear in court May 8.
