Dr. Pamela Schramm Receives Award

Brookfield Lions presented Dr. Schramm with the Knight of the Blind Award.

It was announced at a recent meeting of the Brookfield Lions that Dr. Pamela Schramm was presented with the Knight of the Blind award. She was recognized for her work and support of the ideals of Lionism as it relates to Vision. It is the highest honor awarded by the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Inc

Dr. Schramm is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Optometry and has been in practice since 1998. She is the owner of Brookfield Vision Care which is located 246 Federal Rd, Brookfield. She is an active member of The Connecticut Association of Optometrists, The American Optometric Association, and Brookfield Chamber of Commerce. She is nominated for the National Association of Professional Women.

The Lions Club is the largest service organization in the world with over 1.4 Million members in 45,000 local clubs. The Brookfield Lions support a number of local, regional and international causes including Pediatric Eye Screening, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Eyeglasses for the Needy, Red Cross Blood Drives, Ability Beyond and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
