Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a national non-profit organization that has a state organization in 47 of the 50 states including CT. Brookfield HS just started their chapter this academic year. Open to students in grades 9-12. Includes: Community Service, Learning about careers in health and medical areas, state and national competitions, leadership skill development, fundraising, and more. Generally meets every Wed. after school from 2-3 pm in the BHS Library. State Competition is Tuesday, March 30, 2010 Southern CT State University (Student Center) from 8:30 am-3:00 pm.
