Race to Nowhere is a film presentation sponsored by the HHES PTO and Brookfield ACTS- A Coalition for Suicide Awareness (www.brookfieldacts.org). This event is open to the public at no charge. The movie features stories of teens across America and their demands of education, teachers burned out and worried that students are not developing the skills they need and parents trying to do what is best for their children. This is a silent epidemic in our schools. Cheating has become commonplace, stress-related illness and depression are running rampant. Students arrive for college and the workplace and are not inspired and they are unprepared. A brief panel presentation will follow the film facilitated by Superintendent Anthony Bivona. Come see this video; students are more than welcome. Once you've seen Race to Nowhere learn about End the Race at www.endtherace.org . Please note that free tickets at www.racetonowhere.com is the only way to reserve tickets. Click on the calendar on the site.
