Senior Center 'Be Active for Life' Free Program

The Brookfield Senior Center offers "Be Active for Life: Balance, Bone and Joint Health," presented by Kathy Creighton-Conant Friday, March 26. The free demo class will begin at 10:45am.

Performing daily physical activity offers one of the greatest opportunities for people to extend years of active and independent life and to reduce functional limitations, according to senior center staff. Participants in the program will learn how to exercise safely and effectively to improve flexibility, balance, strength and joint range of motion.  The class can bring dramatic health benefits to adults of all ages and abilities; the entire class can be done in a chair if necessary.

Creighton-Conant is a long time favorite senior center instructor, and lends her expertise as an IDEA Elite Level Personal Fitness Trainer and Arthritis Foundation instructor.
