BROOKFIELD, CT — The holiday season will begin with a bang this Saturday, Nov. 26, with the town's annual Christmas tree lighting.

Residents can enjoy hot chocolate, candy canes, caroling by the choir from St. Marguerite Bourgeoys church and a fire truck parade of lights at Brookfield Town Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. The tree lighting at the Brookfield Funeral Home is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
