Free Concert to Honor Veterans

Musician Billy Michael will perform at a free concert to honor local Brookfield and area veterans on Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. He will be accompanied by Soprano Arianna Carlo and three other female vocalist from the Jazz for Juniors Band.
The performance will be held in the community room of the Brookfield Public Library, located at 182 Whisconier Road (Rt.25). The event is the 16th annual Veteran’s program, “A Musical Salute to Our Veterans”, sponsored by the Brookfield Historical Society and the Jason D. Lewis Brookfield Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10201. Michael will present a selection of popular and patriotic music. In addition, two Brookfield veterans who have distinguished themselves in time of war, will be honored for their military service. Following the performance complimentary refreshments will be served.
