FREE Mama Doni Children's Concert - May 31 at 3pm

Fun and funky music with a Jewish twist! All are welcome on May 31st at 3pm at Hammerhead Martial Arts, Brookfield

Award-winning children’s singer Mama Doni will perform a free concert at Hammerhead Martial Arts located at 317 Federal Road in Brookfield on May 31st at 3:00pm. The concert is open to the community and is sponsored by PJ Library and Congregation B’nai Israel.

The concert will feature fun and funky music with a Jewish twist. Mama Doni’s songs are a celebration of Jewish culture with musical genres from reggae, rock, pop & disco including titles such as Latke Man, La Vida Dreidel, and Shabbat Shaboom.

Mama Doni, a.k.a. Doni Zasloff, is a mom, educator, performer and songwriter. Mama Doni has appeared on FOX-5 TV’s Good Day New York, NBC’s Weekend Today in New York, and E Channel’s The Soup. Mama Doni is also the spokesperson and host on SHALOM TV!

At the concert, Congregation B’nai Israel will celebrate the grand opening of a new community Sunday pre-school opening in the fall. The free weekly program will be held from 10am - 12pm at 193 Clapboard Ridge Road in Danbury. The PJ Library of Greater Danbury mails free, high-quality Jewish children’s literature and music to families across the area on a monthly basis. In addition, families are invited to participate in local events throughout the year. All families raising Jewish children ages 6 months - 8 are welcome to sign up by visiting pjlibrary.org or emailing pjlibraryct@yahoo.com
