THE GARDEN CLUB OF BROOKFIELD PLANTS A NATIVE RED OAK

As you may know, The Federated Garden Club of CT theme project this year is:

Growing Together-Tiny Acorns to Mighty Oaks. This native oak tree project is to plant a CT native oak in a public place in our town.

I am proud to announce that on 10/28/15, with the help of Brookfield Parks & Recreation Dept, Dennis Dipinto, Chris Rabuse and Hollandia’s Nursery we have planted and staked a beautiful native red oak at our Kids Kingdom Park at Town Hall. This tree will stand strong and grow as the children in our community grow. I am very proud to be a member of The Garden Club of Brookfield and part of our beautiful community.

Thank you for all you support. Below you will find pictures of our new tree!
