Generous Couple Buys Brookfield Police New K9 After Previous One Recently Passed

Just three weeks after the Brookfield police said goodbye to their beloved and faithful K9 Bruno, a couple has bought them a new police K9.

BROOKFIELD, CT — "The Brookfield Police Department is extremely thankful to residents Ruth and Warren Malkin, for their generous donation towards the BPD canine program. With the assistance of Ruth and Warren, the Brookfield Police Department has purchased a 16 month old Belgian Malinois, Argo. Argo has begun his training and is expected to complete his certification in October. Ruth and Warren were able to meet K9 Argo, during the board of selectman meeting held yesterday at Town Hall."
