Get Ready for Tricks, Treats and Metal: Brookfielder's Metal Band Plays at Disc & Dat

Heavy metal band Sacred Oath is playing and signing copies of their new album during Bethel's Trick or Treat Street.

The Danbury area heavy metal band Sacred Oath, will play and sign autographs at Disc & Dat record store in Bethel on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 2 - 4 p.m. They will play songs from their newest album and fans can meet band members Rob Thorne, Kenny Evans, Brookfielder Bill Smith and Brendan Kelleher.

The event will take place during Bethel’s annual Trick Or Treat Street and the band is encouraging fans to come out dressed in costumes while they play, sign albums and hand out candy.

Sacred Oath’s new album is on the Universal record label and is a double LP vinyl edition called Spells And Incantations: The Best Of Sacred Oath. Their label Angel Thorne Music recently signed a three year distribution deal with ILS/Caroline/Universal. The band said on their website that the record release is one of the proudest moments in their 30-year history.

“Our fans know that Sacred Oath is a band that has been swimming upstream for a long time,” said singer Rob Thorne in a recent interview. “Now we’re in a spawning ground.”

The double LP album is selling for $15.

Disc & Dat is located at 107 Greenwood Ave. in Bethel.
