Here's When And Where To Drop Off Your Hazardous Waste
The next opportunity to dispose of your household hazardous waste is Oct. 8.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A multi-town hazardous materials dropoff event will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at John Pettibone School on Pickett District Road in New Milford.
The event is sponsored by the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority, and residents from the following towns may participate:Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Warren, Washington, Weston and Wilton.

Those who attend the event are asked to have their identification readily available and remain in their vehicle at all times. Items should be placed in the back of the vehicle, from where they will be removed by workers.

Electronics Recycling may be dropped at your local collection center for free. Acceptable items to drop off include:
