Children at the Huckleberry Hill Elementary School in raised a whopping $13,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in .
The Danbury News-Times reported that most schools raise about $4,000, so Huckleberry Hill went far beyond anyone’s expectation.
The children raised money by pledging to exercise by jumping rope, dancing, playing Nintendo Wii or riding their bikes in return for donations.
