Intoxicated Brookfield Man Asked Cop for Directions: Danbury PD
The officer immediately noticed the moped operator had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, police said.

DANBURY, CT — An intoxicated moped operator was arrested after he asked a officer for directions while stopped at a light, according to police.
Guiseppe Mingoia, 21, of Brookfield was stopped on West Street June 8 when he asked for directions. The officer noticed he had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes and told Mingoia to pull over, police said.
He failed standard field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, according to police. He was charged with DUI and released on a $500 bond.
