Judith Ann Fisher, 80, Passed Away Peacefully

A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 28, 2016 at The Congregational Church of Brookfield.

Judith Ann Fisher, 80, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2016 in Bethel CT. She was born in Weymouth MA on December 2, 1935 to parents Doris Roberts Parker and Leonard Eudy Parker. She lived in Brookfield CT for the past forty-one years.

Judith is survived by her beloved husband Walter W. Fisher, married February 20, 1960. She is also survived by her dear children Douglas W. (Mary) Fisher, Diane E. Fisher, Stephen A. (Catherine) Fisher and Jennifer A. (Ryan) Barner. She was a loving grandmother to Andrew and Mary Jo Fisher; Tyler and Jenna Cecere; and Caitlin, Jacob and Camden Barner.

Judith is also survived by siblings Sylvia Coffin, Suzanne Whiton, Robert Parker and George Parker (predeceased by sister Barbara Antonelli and brother John Parker); many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Judith graduated from Quincy MA High School and took many banking, art and quilting courses.

During her business career, she was a secretary , children's librarian, proofreader and trade show coordinator. She worked at National Shawmut Bank, AT&T, E.S. Deans, Kero-Sun,General DataComm and Branson Ultrasonics.
She was a Cub Scout den mother, member of many PTA's, Fresh Air Fund sponsor, member of Red Hat Society and Grandmothers for Peace. She and her husband were avid theatre and concertgoers.

Judith enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, being with family and friends, and working on projects related to peace, justice and children's education. She was a caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She and Walter enjoyed traveling to Bermuda, Europe and Hawaii.

There will be no calling hours.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 AM May 28th at The Congregational Church of Brookfield, Brookfield, CT.
