Legislative Forum Involving Bethel, Brookfield, and Danbury Legislators to be Held

The Greater Danbury Member-at-Large unit and the League of Women Voters of Connecticut will sponsor a legislative meeting with recently re-elected legislators serving Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury and New Fairfield.

The event is to be held on January 25, 2015, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at the Danbury Library, 170 Main Street, Danbury. This meeting will be of interest to all residents who want to hear their local legislators discuss plans for the new session and to ask questions themselves.

This event is part of a long tradition of the League of Women Voters to encourage active participation in government and to increase understanding of major public policy issues. The newly-reactivated Danbury area unit of the League is also actively looking for new members.
