I wish I could get the kind of following I see other little blogs getting...like the Huffington Post maybe?
Every weekend I find another piece of the past, some of it is mundane and some of it is heart-stopping.
I have recently discovered some World War II memorabilia at an estate sale that will take a while before I can even grasp how important it is. And there it was, sitting in a basement forgotten, unwanted. More updates on that if you follow me on Facebook or join my email list.

At that same sale I uncovered two 1/2 century old menus, and when I went to research one - “Trader Vic’s” - good stories tumbled out.
