BROOKFIELD, CT — Multiple people were hospitalized following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle carrying two people on Saturday night.

The News-Times reported that crews responded to news of the Federal Road crash near the Brookfield Lanes bowling alley around 7:30 p.m.

The "serious multi patient motor vehicle accident" was just one of 33 emergency calls to which the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company responded during a single 48-hour period, according to a social media post. Other crises included an overturned sailboat, several fire alarms and over two dozen medical emergencies, BVFC officials said.
