BROOKFIELD, CT — Three people were hospitalized following a multi-car accident on Federal Road Thursday morning.

First responders from Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company and EMS to the roadway in front of 200 Federal Road around 10 a.m. found a 3-car collision, with one motorist trapped inside their vehicle. The car had been knocked onto its side, pinning the driver inside.

Crews used the Jaws of Life to free the entrapped driver, and all three motorists were taken to Danbury Hospital.
