Obituary: Albert A. Anderlot, 75, of Brookfield
A Vietnam vet, he worked at Danbury Hospital for many years until his retirement.

BROOKFIELD, CT -- Albert A. Anderlot of Brookfield, beloved husband of Angela M. (DeSantis) Anderlot, died peacefully in Danbury Hospital in the presence of family on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 75 from complications of pneumonia.
Mr. Anderlot was born on August 31, 1942 in Derby, CT, son of the late Albert and Viola (Vastola) Anderlot of Ansonia. He graduated from Ansonia High School and served stateside in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Angela in 1969 and they resided in Brookfield for 46 years. He worked at Danbury Hospital in ITG for many years until his retirement.
Mr. Anderlot received the generous lifesaving gift of a heart transplant from an anonymous organ donor in 1991, and recently celebrated his 27th "Heart Birthday" with his family. hE was fond of reading, dining out, and gardening, and loved visits with his grandchildren.

In addition to his devoted wife Angela, Mr. Anderlot is survived by his son Steven Anderlot of Brookfield, daughter Kim Randalot and her husband Reuben Randalot of Oakville, CT, sister Louise Andrews, sister Diane Bateman and her husband James Bateman all of New Milford, CT, brother-in-law Dennis DeSantis and his wife Peggy DeSantis of Watertown, CT, and his dear nieces, nephews, cousin, and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Michael Anderlot of Ansonia, CT.
