OBITUARY: Armand E. Pinard, 95, of Brookfield

Pinard was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Armand E. Pinard, age 95 of Brookfield died on Thursday February 16th at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Catalano) Pinard.

Armand was born July 8, 1921 in Victory, VT the son of the late Emile A. and Mary (Hull) Pinard. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, and was employed as a mechanical engineer for several manufacturing companies throughout his career.

Armand is survived by his sons: Paul E. Pinard and his wife Marilyn of Brookfield, Jeffrey A. Pinard and his wife Deborah of Fairplay, CO and Russell L. Pinard and his significant other Gloria Whaley of Vienna, VA, and two grandchildren Alyssa and Victoria Pinard.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 18th at 10:00am in Saint Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial with military honors will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are requested to be made to Saint Joseph Church, 163 Whisconier Road, Brookfield, CT 06804.
