BETHEL, CT -- Catherine M. Hickey, age 88, of Bluffton, South Carolina died Tuesday July 31, 2018 at home. She was the widow of Robert W. Hickey. She was born in New York, NY October 17,1929 daughter of the late John & Margaret Johnson.

Catherine spent many years working in the banking and insurance industry. After living in Norwalk and Brookfield for over 45 years, she moved to South Carolina to enjoy the warmer weather. She is survived by her daughter: Kathryn & Husband Gerry Greene of Bluffton, SC; her grandchildren: Scott of Bluffton, SC & Kristen of Brookfield and her sister: Theresa Peterson of Long Island, along with many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel on Sunday August 5, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary's Church, 26 Dodgingtown Rd, Bethel, Monday August 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with burial immediately following at St. Peter's Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury.
