BROOKFIELD, CT — Denise Marie McGivney, 68, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on Dec. 10, 2023, after a brief insurmountable illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late Theodore and Dolores (Henrickson) Hoermann.
She was the wife of Robert McGivney of Brookfield for 30 years. In addition to her husband, Denise is survived by her sisters Donna Tofalli and Diane Ard, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Deborah D’Amore.
An exceptional businesswoman, Denise spent 45 years in the logistics industry, until the time of her death. She spent many years in athletics and wellness activities, and loved her dog Riley.

A visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m.
