Obituary: Kwang Yo Pomeroy, 69, of Brookfield
A woman of deep faith, strength and compassion, she influenced many who were in need of spiritual healing.

Kwang Yo Pomeroy, 69, of Brookfield, passed to the afterlife, welcoming her new path to heal and protect all that she dearly loved, on Saturday, January 14, 2017. She was born in Seoul, Korea on March 18, 1948, daughter of the late Bok Du Gae and Guk Ma Woo.
Kwang was a devoted employee for more than 25 years at Sealed Air Corporation in Danbury, where she received recognition and accolades for her dedication and loyalty, and developed many friendships.

She was an active member of Dae Yen Sa International Buddhist Temple in New Hartford. A woman of deep faith, strength and compassion, she influenced many who were in need of spiritual healing.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lisa Pomeroy and her fiancé, Daniel Matos of Brookfield; her two sons, Charles Pomeroy and his wife Ilona of New Milford,and Timothy Pomeroy and his wife Jennifer of Appleton, WI; and her three beloved grandchildren, Ian, Gabrielle, and Logan. She is also survived by her brother, Kwang Chu Woo; and her sister, Kwang Ja Woo; as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of longtime friends.

The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, January 21st between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00pm. Cremation will take place privately.
