Obituary: Lillian K. Covill, 100, Of Brookfield

Lillian always enjoyed crafts. For many years, she gave ceramic lessons from the basement of her home.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Lillian K. Covill, 100, of Brookfield, wife of the late George Covill, Sr., died at The Villages in Brookfield on Tuesday, Feb. 28. She was born in Danbury on April 11, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Madden) Fisher. She was a graduate of Danbury High School.

Lillian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She always enjoyed crafts. For many years she gave ceramic lessons from the basement of her home. She also enjoyed oil painting and watched Bob Ross on TV along with the Game show Network.

Lillian learned quilting and made and donated quilts for newborn family members, which became a family affair.

She will be sadly missed by her five children, Dorothy Bartram (Basil), William J. (Fern), Keith (Diane), Alan (Donna), and Kathleen White (Bob); 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her three children, Richard, Bruce, and George.

There are no formal services. Cremation and interment in Central Cemetery, Brookfield will be at a later date.
