BROOKFIELD, CT — Margaret M. (Milko) Dixon, formerly of Brookfield, wife of the late William J. Dixon, died peacefully at Bethel Health Care on Saturday, April 30. She was born in Wall, PA on March 24, 1924, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Murnek) Milko.
Margaret, affectionately known as Peg, was a warmhearted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Peg was a woman of grace, dignity and kindness, with a wonderful smile she freely shared with strangers and friends alike. She enjoyed her family and friends, time out of doors (especially on porches overlooking lovely lakes), Jeopardy, cards, bingo, swimming and making each holiday special for her family. Peg was strong and persevering, as well as generous and giving in countless ways. She devoted herself to being a dedicated homemaker, and both before and after raising her family, she prided herself on her work ethic in various secretarial and retail positions.
