Obituary: Max S. Blatt, 68, of Brookfield
A retired postmaster, father, brother, grandson and friend.
Max S. Blatt, 68, of Brookfield, died on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Blatt was born in New York, NY, December 10, 1948, a son of Joseph and Belle (Richman) Blatt. He attended New York schools.
He was a retired assistant postmaster with the U.S. Postal System.

Mr. Blatt is survived by a son, Evan Blatt; a daughter, Amy Blatt; a brother Alan Blatt; a sister, Anne Blatt; his loving grandson, Gavin and best friend, Barbara.
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1 pm in the United Jewish Center, 141 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury with Rabbi Stefan Tiwy and Cantor Penny Kessler officiating.

Interment will follow in the United Jewish Center Cemetery, 210 Greys Bridge Rd., Brookfield.Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
