Obituary: Michael Stout, 71, Of Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT — Michael Stout, 71, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Vickie (Franks) Stout, died at Danbury Hospital, on Thursday, July 13, 2023. He was born in Wichita Falls, Oklahoma on January 30, 1952, son of the late Jack and Lynn (Harned) Stout.

Mike worked as chemical engineer for Momentive. He devoted many years to the development of a chemical was used in the production of tires.

He loved his children very much.

In addition to his cherished wife of 35 years, Vickie, he will be dearly missed by his two children: Adam Stout and Brittney Stout; his three grandchildren: Bailey Newman, Jaeden and Savanna Corchado. He is also survived by his brother; Jerry Stout and nieces; Kristy, Keri and nephew; Joe.
Michael was predeceased by his daughter, Ashley Stout Balbi.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, July 19 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd. Brookfield.

Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Burial in Central Cemetery will take place at a later date.
