BROOKFIELD, CT — Mrs. Nancy Lee (Bridwell) Bowen, age 85, of Brookfield died Friday June 24, 2022 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Duane Charles Bowen.

Nancy was born February 18, 1937 in Ottawa, Illinois, daughter of the late Clifton and Dorothy (Foster) Bridwell. She was retired after working for many years as the director of Peter Piper Preschool. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her kitty, and vacationing in Cape Cod.

Nancy is survived by her children: Scott Bowen and his wife Maggie of Enfield, Stacey Smith and her husband Tom of Brookfield and Amy Plante of Brookfield, her sister: Norma Jameson of Ottawa, IL, her grandchildren: Mandy (Jeremy), Michael, Abby (Brian), Kate (Carter), Jean-Luc, Becky, (Chris), Jacques (Alex) and Hannah, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law: Daniel Plante and her brother-in-law: Howard Jameson.

Private funeral services and inurnment in the Brookfield Congregational Church Memorial Wall will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
