Obituary: Stanley W. Karcheski, 102, of Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT -- Stanley W. Karcheski, 102, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning, July 10. He was the husband of the late Helen Washenko Karcheski, to who he was married to for 73 years until her death in 2008.

Survivors include his son: Donald Karcheski of Brookfield. His daughter: Elaine Tomanio and her husband, Roger, of Brookfield. His grandchildren: Todd Tomanio and his wife, Elyse, of Alexandria, VA; Karen Dreger and her husband, Steven, of Sandy Hook. His great-grandchildren: Caden McLeod, Braelynn Tomanio and Hadley Tomanio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and wonderful next-door neighbors, the Kincades.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
