Obituary: Susan M. Lenihan, 59, of Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT -- It is with great sadness that the family of Susan M. Lenihan announces her passing, on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 59.

Susan was born in New York, raised in Danbury and graduated from Danbury High School where she met her husband, Don. She received her degree from Western Connecticut State University and later moved to Brookfield where she and Don raised their beautiful family.

Susan loved to travel, ‘float’ in her pool and spend time with her beloved family and friends. Blessed with the biggest heart, Susan was always the life of the party. She was highly family oriented and dedicated herself to being an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Her lively spirit will never be forgotten.

Susan will be forever loved and remembered by her husband and best friend Don and their children: Kelly and her husband Will, Katie and her fiancé Eamon, and DJ and his wife Deanna. Susan is also survived by her parents Alice and Donald Ragaini and her beloved grandson, Oliver. Susan was predeceased by her brother, Michael.

A Celebration of Susan’s beautiful life and spirit will be held at Green Funeral Home in Danbury on Tuesday July 24, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. In Susan’s honor, donations can be made to the PurpleStride Walk to end Pancreatic Cancer.
