BROOKFIELD, CT — Thomas E. Mangone, Jr., 52, of Brookfield, beloved son of Thomas E. Sr., and the late Dorothy (Arcuni) Mangone, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, July 12, after a brief, yet hard fought battle with cancer.
Tommy was born in Bronxville, NY on November 26, 1968 and was a long time resident of Mount Vernon, NY where he forged lifelong friendships and spent much beloved time with his extended family.

Tommy loved music, playing poker and was an avid bowler, belonging to leagues in Brookfield, New Milford, and most recently Plantsville. He was a reformed NY Yankees fan, followed WWE, loved playing Monopoly and watching his favorite movie, "Jaws". Tommy had a huge heart and would talk to anyone about his love of these things and more. Besides being a devoted son, brother and uncle, Tommy was a good friend who will be remembered for his kind nature, and his genuine concerned for others well-being.
In addition to his loving father, Thomas Sr., he will be missed by his sister, Jennifer Caraglior and her husband David; his nephew, Grayson; and nieces Haley and Maya and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all take comfort in knowing he has been welcomed into eternity by his biggest fan, his mother, Dottie.

A visitation will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday, July 18th between the hours of 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Tommy’s kind heart, the family asks that you perform an act of kindness in his memory.
