One Injured When Car Crashes Into Brookfield Gas Station
Building Department officials and the fire marshal assessed the structure, and determined it was unsafe for occupancy.
BROOKFIELD, CT — One person was injured when a car crashed into a gas station on Saturday afternoon.
The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the Mobil Gas Station located at 83 Federal Road and discovered a car smashed into the corner of the convenience store structure of the station. The motorist was unharmed, but a clerk working at the station was injured and taken to the hospital.
Brookfield Building Department officials and the fire marshal assessed the structure, and determined it was unsafe for occupancy. The station is now closed, pending repairs.
