Brookfield, CT — Patricia G. Fairchild, 73, of Brookfield, beloved wife of Alan J. Fairchild, died at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, June 28th.

She was born in Norwalk on February 23, 1943, daughter of the late Marie (Gradia) Emery and the late James Emery. Pat was a devoted and loving, wife, mother and grandmother. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 57 years, Alan, Pat is survived by her three children; sons, Joseph Fairchild and his wife Susan of Danbury, Robert Fairchild and his wife Diana (Caracciolo) of Brookfield and daughter, Cindy Dineen (Fairchild) and Scott Rohrback of Brookfield; her eight grandchildren, Nikki, Kristi, and Jaimie Fairchild, of Danbury, Vincent and Hunter Fairchild, of Brookfield, Andrew and Jessica Dineen, of Brookfield and Amy Dineen and her husband Josh Farrell and great-granddaughter Charlotte, of TN (previously New Milford).

(Archiere) Fairchild, who she loved like they were her own parents. Pat was a caregiver to all she knew, everyone knowing they could call upon her, at any time, and she'd be there. It was truly Pat's calling to care for all of the members of her family as well as her friends, always thinking of others' needs, before her own. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Virginia Beach with her best friend the late Diana Oliveria.
