Police Seek Public's Aid In Search For Man Missing Near Brookfield Bay
The state's Environmental Police have identified the missing person as a 24-year-old man.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Police have now reached to the public for assistance in their search for the person gone missing in Candlewood Lake, now identified as a 24-year-old man.
The state's Environmental Conservation Police said the man went missing in the water near Candlewood Inn and Brookfield Bay around 7:30 Sunday evening.
Search efforts have been ongoing for four days. Local police and fire crews, as well as the Department of Energy and Ecological Protection's EnCon cops, have been involved in the search efforts

The EnCon police are encouraging anyone who was in the area between 5:30-6:45 p.m. Sunday to contact them at 860-904-8154.
