Police Seize 54 Lbs Of Pot In Brookfield Raid

Brookfield PD seized about 54 pounds of marijuana plant material with a street value of approx. $186K following a months-long investigation.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The police shut down an illegal marijuana dealer following a months-long investigation.

The Brookfield Police Department Detective Bureau and the Danbury Police Department Special Investigations Division executed search and seizure warrants on Aug. 18 at #2 Hollow Oak Lane in Brookfield.

Police took one person into custody, and uncovered the following during the search:

  • Approximately 54 pounds of marijuana plant material with a street value of approximately $186,208
  • 36 marijuana plants at various stages of growth
  • Over 200 vape cartridges with an estimated street value of approximately $6,000
  • 51 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes valued at $510
  • 2.74 lbs of THC extracts, wax, and oils, worth approximately $24,000
  • A shotgun and ammunition
  • $22,000

"These findings suggest a significant operation involving the cultivation, distribution, and sale of marijuana related products," according to Brookfield Police officials.
