Registration Open for Oregon Style Cross Country Camp

Local cross country coaches Ed Butt of Brookfield High School and Brian Hayes of Immaculate High School are bringing the Oregon Style Cross Country Camp to New Milford for the second year!

The camp is for runners ages 12-18, and will be held at Canterbury School in New Milford from August 2-8, 2015. The camp schedule will include runs twice a day, as well as time to swim and socialize. There will be guest speakers, and discussions on nutrition and preventing injury.

Runners are grouped according to fitness level and experience. The distance of runs and tempo of runs are also grouped according to fitness level. The goal at Oregon Style Cross Country Camp is to help distance runners strengthen their love for running and become the best that they can be.
