Robert H. Brady, 69, of Brookfield, Passed Away Sunday

Robert H. Brady, 69, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Carolyn (Zuba) Brady, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 18th, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 1, 1946, son of the late Hugh and Elvira (Rick) Brady.

Mr. Brady worked as a Director of Electrical Engineering for many years. He began his career with Sikorsky in Stratford, and later developed many patents in engineering for area companies including, Wentworth Labs, LORAD, Kimchuck and Honeywell. He was a former member of the Brookfield Jaycees.

He enjoyed summers at the Jersey Shore house, golfing, dancing, and playing trivia games. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, and never missed a game. His happiest moments were spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face, and was known for his subtle, yet witty humor.

His family will cherish their many happy memories, and remember him, not only for his overwhelming love and guidance, but for his patience and gentle hand.

In addition to his cherished wife of 46 years, Carolyn, he will be sadly missed by his three children, Kerrie Brady, Jennifer Fesh and her husband, David, and Keith Brady; his two grandchildren, Madison and Jake Fesh; his brother, Edward Brady and his wife, Pam; his sister, Kathleen Brady; brother-in-law, Leonard Zuba and his wife, Lorraina; nephews, Matthew and Colin Brady, and Matthew and Michael Zuba; nieces, Bernadette Fatehi and Michelle Zuba.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 23rd at 11:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield. Burial in Wooster Cemetery will follow.

The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.

Memorial Contributions in his memory may be made to Regional Hospice and Homecare of Western Connecticut, or to the American Lung Association.
